The renovation of this 50,000 square-foot abandoned school created 55 affordable assisted-living apartments for senior citizens.

The scope of work included considerable demolition, metal framing, new mechanical and
electrical systems, a complete commercial kitchen, and exterior landscaping for a parking area.

Residents can enjoy the central dining area, sky lit commons and support areas such as a crafts room, a wellness center, and an entry courtyard.

The on-site recycling of 2,000 tons of terra cotta from nonbearing partition walls as fill assisted in supporting Sota Construction Services' efforts to pursue green building techniques.
