[Sota's] efforts have transformed a symbol of inner city blight into a remarkable development for unique near-downtown housing.

This project was a reconfiguration of the Vincentian Home to become a state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility. Complete renovations of the second and third floors and portions of the first floor and basement floor entry were part of the scope. An elevator and a new entrance were also included. This renovation increased the number of private rooms with private bathrooms.
Installation of new MEPs that are energy-efficient provided cost savings to the Sisters. The scope provided for a fully ADA compliant facility with all life safety requirements. The goal was to creat a less institutional and more home-style environment, all while being completely occupied by the current residents.
