Blackbird Lofts and Artist Studios

This 47,000 s.f. mixed use project required close co-ordination on a tight urban site. Scope of work included brownfield remediation, shoring, deep foundations, steel frame and concrete structure and all necessary work to create the 15 condominium residences, 3 commercial condominiums and 28 car parking garage at the ground level.

The project is LEED registered under core and shell pilot.  Energy efficiency was very important and steps were taken to insure minimal energy use with filtered fresh air being delivered to each of the residences through an energy recovery ventilation system.
